The first Coloring book is out!
Omaľovánka č. 1, prvá zo série lathé cut splitov, limitovaných edícií v náklade 50 kusov, vždy spájajúca spriatelené kapely, ktoré spolu pracujú na vnútornom obale splitka a na návrhu trička, ktoré je súčasťou setu.
Čo spojilo kapely Ničiteľ (primitive drum and bass core, Spišská Nová Ves) a Leňochod (sludge and roll, Čadca) je prekvapivo iný typ umenia ako hudba. Martin, bubeník z Ničiteľa, a Jano, spevák a basgitarista z Leňochoda, spolu študujú maľbu v Banskej Bystrici.
Bol to práve Jano, kto spomenul Ničiteľa Marekovi Marchinovi, promotérovi zo Spišskej, pred 2 rokmi a došlo k zorganizovaniu prvého koncertu. Ak by k tomu nedošlo, Ničiteľ by možno ešte doteraz hral hudbu v garáži s predpokladom, že nestojí za to, aby s ňou vyšli vonku.
Vonkajší obal navrhnutý Janom z Leňochodu má slúžiť ako inšpirácia pre každého majiteľa tohto 7", aby vyfarbil omaľovanku na krabici svojim spôsobom. Boli by sme radi ak by ste nám vaše výtvory zaslali, chceli by sme spraviť nástenku so všetkými variáciami. Jedna na ukážku:
Coloring book Nr. 1, the first of a serie of lathé cut splits, 50 pieces limited editions, always combining bands with good relationships working together on the inner artwork of the 7" and the T-shirt which is part of the set.
What got together the bands Ničiteľ (primitive drum and bass core, Spišská Nová Ves) and Leňochod (sludge and roll, Čadca) and built up the relationship was surprisingly a different kind of art than music. Martin, the drummer from Ničiteľ, and Jano, the vocalist and bass player from Leňochod, are studying paintings together in Banská Bystrica.
Jano was the one, who mentioned Ničiteľ to Marek Marchin, a local promoter in Spišská Nová Ves, 2 years ago and the first gig was therefor organised. If this would not happen, Ničiteľ might still be playing its music in a basement not believing that the music is worth putting out.
Outer artwork designed by Jano from Leňochod is an inspiration for every owner of this 7" to color the coloring book on the box in his own way. We would be really thankful if you could send us a picture of your result. We would like to make a pinboard of all the variations. One of them is here to show:
